MARLEX FILMS is a production company dedicated to the creation and production of powerful and compelling storytelling. We believe in a collaborative filmmaking approach. Bringing culturally diverse international and domestic visionaries together in “the telling of our stories”.
MARLEX FILMS was founded by Soraya Sussman, Maria Isabella Rojas, and Alexis-Isabella Sussman. The company is committed to our Mission: “to provide quality compelling storytelling with diverse voices and cultures”. We thrive to achieve this with our Vision: “to celebrate diverse artistry with a focus on creating powerful film productions that captivate the human spirit”.
We are an entertainment company that provides a vehicle for innovative filmmakers to create quality films with unique voices. We started our filmmaking journey in 2019 with the production of three short films – DON’T PUT ME ON HOLD, XTRA DIRTY, and LET ME DOWN. In 2022, MARLEX FILMS will produce two short films – BAYABIVE ROSE BALL and SORAYA and THE IRISHMAN. In addition, in 2023, our first full-length film, THE GRAN HEIST. These films will usher in the next generation of MARLEX FILMS’ production expansion and growth onto the global entertainment marketplace.
Ultimately, we remain dedicated filmmakers fostering a media entertainment outlet to explore, showcase and represent excellence in film.
